Middle school track teams compete at Ramay

The Siloam Springs eighth grade girls finished fourth Tuesday at the Northwest Arkansas Middle School League Track Meet held at Fayetteville Ramay.

Fayetteville Woodland won the meet with 306.5 points, followed by Rogers Elmwood 92.5, Fayetteville Ramay 71, Siloam Springs 66, Rogers Kirksey 41 and Springdale George 17.

Faith Ellis finished second in the long jump at 15 feet, 0 inches, while Clara Church was 18th at 11-0 and Emily Brown 20th at 10-6.

Ellis placed third in the triple jump at 30-7 with Annalise Wleklinski taking 11th at 25-1 and Sydney Omo 14th at 22-4.

Cailee Johnson took third in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.57 with Adelynn Fidler placing 16th at 22.03.

Oneida Batres took fourth in the discus at 70-4 with Ross in fifth at 66-3 and Knight 15th at 53-0.

Cailee Johnson placed fourth in the pole vault at 7-8, while Nyah Hostler was seventh at 6-2.

Ellis placed fifth in the 200-meter dash at 29.20 with Sydney Omo in 22nd at 32.47 and Clara Church 23rd at 32.51.

Johnson placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at 54.39 with Fidler taking 10th at 58.73.

Brooke Ross placed sixth in the shot put at 29-6 with Whitelee Knight placing 11th at 26-3.

Ellis placed eighth in the 100-meter dash at 14.22 with Wleklinski taking 23rd at 15.09.

Bella Dyer placed 22nd in the 400-meter dash at 1:18.97, while Madyson Glover was 24th at 1:26.48 and Ross 25th at 1:26.85.

Ariella Vogus placed 18th in the 800-meter run at 3:09.26 with Madison Rice in 19th at 3:12.78.

The Lady Panthers' 4x800-meter relay team of Ariella Vogus, Ross, Hostler and Emily Brown placed fourth at 12:49.25.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Church, Johnson, Wleklinski and Ellis placed fourth at 56.81.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Vogus, Ellis, Johnson and Brown placed fourth at 4:53.98.

Eighth grade boys

Host Ramay won the eighth grade boys meet with 188 points, while Fayetteville Woodland finished second at 169.5, followed by Rogers Kirksey 100.5, Springdale George 72, Siloam Springs 57 and Rogers Elmwood 25.

Michael Rauch finished in a tie for fourth place in the high jump at 5-0, while Wilson Cunningham was 10th at 4-10 and Marcus Molina 12th, also at 4-10.

Rauch placed sixth in the long jump at 16-1 with Ronald Mancia eighth at 15-9 and Samuel Herndon 16th at 13-6.5.

Dylan Garcia placed 10th in the triple jump at 33-2, while Cole Keyser was 14th at 32-2 and Kevin Pettit 16th at 30-6.

Stone Stevens placed fifth in the shot put at 35-4 with Ryder Winfrey eighth at 33-7.5 and Caleb Castaneda 22nd at 26-4.

Chris King placed third in the discus at 113-9 with Jackson Boles in ninth at 91-11.

Caleb Rodgers placed in a tie for fourth with a height of 7-8 in the pole vault with Jackson Doornbos eighth at 7-2.

Molina finished seventh in the 110-meter hurdles at 20.57, while Daxton Moody was 11th at 21.64.

Rauch was 12th in the 100-meter dash at 12.82, with Pettit 16th at 13.20 and Kevin Depaz 22nd at 13.75.

Levi Fox finished fourth in the 1,600-meter run at 5:25.72 with Camden Blackfox in ninth at 5:47.55 and Barrett Eldridge 14th at 6:06.35.

Molina placed 11th in the 400-meter dash at 1:01.55 with Mancia in 13th at 1:02.83 and Logan Williamson 14th at 1:06.72.

Doornbos placed 11th in the 300-meter hurdles at 53.02 with Daxton Moody in 17th at 58.11.

Wilson Cunningham was third in the 800-meter run at 2:18.35, with Clayton taking 11th at 2:28.39 and Cooper Shaw finishing 17th at 2:38.97.

Stevens finished 19th in the 200-meter dash at 29.42 with Depaz in 21st at 29.90 and Pettit 22nd at 30.90.

The Panthers' 4x800-meter relay team of Garcia, Connor Clayton, Levi Fox and Cunningham placed first at 9:31.40.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Pettit, Stevens, Depaz and Rauch took fifth place at 52.54.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Mancia, Molina, Clayton and Cunningham placed third at 3:59.47.

Seventh grade girls

The seventh grade girls finished fourth overall at the meet. Fayetteville Woodland was first with 201 points, followed by Rogers Kirksey 84, Fayetteville Ramay 80, Siloam Springs 72, Springdale Lakeside 69, Rogers Elmwood 66 and Springdale George 23.

Keely Keener placed first in the shot put at 38-4.5, while Esperanza Rodriguez was fifth at 25-1 and Avah Duncan 10th at 20-5.5.

Keener was second in the discus with a throw of 62-10, while Duncan was sixth at 49-6 and Rodriguez eighth at 45-6.

Emily Keehn placed fourth in the triple jump at 27-2 with Natalie Ross placing ninth at 25-2 and Chloe Granderson 12th at 22-9.

Faith Harris placed fourth in the 1,600-meter run at 7:30.57, while Avery Carter was sixth at 7:35.78 and Lexi Lane seventh at 7:44.57.

Granderson took fifth in the 800-meter run at 3:02.82 with Carter finising 11th at 3:12.06 and Ross 13th at 3:14.09.

Lexi Masters placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles at 19.90 with Lillian Wilkie in 22nd at 24.12.

Keehn took sixth in the 300-meter hurdles at 1:01.92, with Wilkie placing 11th at 1:05.07

Keehn finished seventh in the long jump at 11-11, while Hannah Goodman was 13th at 11-0.

Consuelo Rodriguez placed 11th in the 400-meter dash at 1:21.71 with Amy Blaha taking 15th at 1:27.81 and Katie Gonzalez 18th at 1:38.43.

Hannah Goodman finished 16th in the 100-meter dash at 15.05 with Sara Cobb placing 20th at 15.46.

The 4x800-meter relay team of Granderson, Faith Harris, Avery Carter and Lexi Lane took second place with a time of 12:58.68.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Masters, Goodman, Cobb and Granderson finished third at 5:00.55.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Masters, Goodman, Cobb and Keehn finished fourth at 59.93.

Seventh grade boys

The seventh grade boys finished third overall. Ramay was first at 120.5, followed by Springdale Lakeside 120, Siloam Springs 113, Fayetteville Woodland 96.5, Springdale George 57, Rogers Elmwood 53 and Rogers Kirksey 43.

Silas Tugwell placed second in the high jump at 4-10.

Grayson Manning was the top scorer in the long jump at 15-10, with Nathan Hawbaker placing eighth at 14-4 and Cayden Hansen 13th at 13-4.

Tugwell placed second in the triple jump at 34-2 with Hawbaker in eighth at 30-7.5 and Hansen in ninth at 29-8.

Jed Derwin placed second in the shot put at 32-1.5, while Noah Race was ninth at 29-1.

Race placed second in the discus at 90-9, while Derwin was 11th at 71-8.

Devlin Husong finished fifth in the pole vault at 6-2, while Cooper Church also finished at 6-2.

The 4x800-meter relay team of Noah Granderson, Hansen, Ben Stratman and Hawbaker took first place with a time of 10:14.50.

Tugwell finished first in the 110-meter hurdles at 20.93 with Manning placing eighth at 22.19.

Tugwell also finished first in the 100-meter hurdles at 52.44 with Grayson Manning in 10th at 57.25.

Derwin was seventh in the 100-meter dash at 13.29, while Husong was 17th at 13.74 and Hansen 33rd at 14.83.

Granderson captured first place in the 1,600-meter run at 5:19.67 with Jared Brewer in 12th at 6:30.14.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Tugwell, Husong, Hansen and Jed Derwin took sixth at 54.41.

Hawbaker placed third in the 400-meter dash at 1:01.47 with Stratman finishing 12th at 1:07.37 and Charlie Hyde 16th at 1:08.64.

Hyde took 11th in the 800-meter run at 2:40.97 with Jared Brewer in 18th at 2:54.12 and Ezekiel Becan 21st at 3:00.90.

River Ward placed ninth in the 200-meter dash at 28.57, while Hansen was 25th at 32.18 and Ivan Parra 27th at 32.66.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Hawbaker, Derwin, Tugwell and Granderson placed first at 4:19.55.
