Ground broken on Starbucks

The 2,000-square-foot coffee shop will be a part of a 6,000-square-foot retail development, according to a November press release from Haag Brown Development. Construction on the development is already underway and if all goals are met, the Starbucks should open in September, according to store manager Cole Hagele of Siloam Springs. Starbucks district manager Melanee Lundquist and store managers from locations as far away as Pittsburg, Kan., and Joplin, Mo., also attended the groundbreaking.

Chamber of Commerce and Starbucks officials broke ground on a new store at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and Simon Sager Road on Thursday.
