"In Game 2 Jessie Robinson didn't give them one walk or hit any batters, which shows how much she has improved over the course of the last 24 months," Wright said. "Our defense made the routine plays and our offense was patient at the plate and had several hits, including a home run by Sydney Smith, and we ran the bases well. Their work paid off and getting rewarded for that was fun to see. I'm looking forward to that last five games as we continue to get better in every aspect of the game."
