David Lee Murphy brings the 'Party Crowd' Feb. 28

RIAA gold-selling singer-songwriter to play free show at Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. -- Gold-selling singer-songwriter David Lee Murphy has been creating country music staples for more than two decades. On Feb. 28, Murphy brings his long list of chart-toppers to SEVEN Bar, located inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs, for a free show.

Murphy takes the stage at 8 p.m.

His 1994 debut album, "Out with a Bang," is a flawless narrative of his rise through the charts. The record includes the No. 6 "Party Crowd," No. 1 single "Dust on the Bottle" and the title track, "Out with a Bang," which reached No. 13 on the Billboard U.S. Country Charts.

Murphy followed the album with his second release, "Gettin' Out the Good Stuff," in 1996, featuring "Every Time I Get Around You" and "The Road You Leave Behind," both climbing the country charts to No. 2 and No. 5, respectively.

The artist continues to churn out hits like 2004's "Loco" and 2017's "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," featuring Kenny Chesney. But his knack for creating a hit fans will love reaches beyond his own singles, as he has written songs for other big names in Nashville. Murphy, who wrote the No. 1 hits "Living in Fast Forward" and "Live a Little" for Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor," Thompson Square's No.1 Grammy-nominated single "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not," Jake Owen's "Anywhere with You," and Blake Shelton's "The More I Drink," has a lyrical flavor fans can't seem to resist.
