Lowe's Heroes from the Siloam Springs Lowe's Store spent their day performing heroic work in the soon-to-be Maker Space at the Chamber of Commerce building on Feb. 1.

Projects at the building, located at 101 N. Mt. Olive St., included removing stubborn plaster from a 70-foot-long brick wall by hand and framing walls for a restroom.

Six Lowe's employees volunteered to join Chamber staff in the renovation project, which will offer residents an opportunity to unleash their imagination in a common space that combines the ability to collaborate, design, and fabricate under one roof.

The Chamber is collecting support in several forms: in-kind, volunteering, teaching/mentoring, equipment donations and monetary.
