Bowlers fare well at state tourney

CABOT -- The Siloam Springs bowling teams competed in the Class 5A State Bowling Tournament at Allfam Bowling on Wednedsay.

The boys finished second overall and earned the state runner-up trophy, while the girls finished third.

"This may be the most amazing group I have coached in the last 12 years," said Siloam Springs coach Ken Bolinger. "Starting the year I felt good about the girls team finishing high in state, but the boys, after losing so many from last year and the passing of a team member as well, I just hoped we might just go to state maybe.
