William 'Terry' Bailey

William "Terry" Bailey, 73, of Gentry, Arkansas, died February 25, 2019, at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, Arkansas. Born October 16, 1945, in Texarkana, Texas, he was the son of Raymond Bailey and Jewel Bailey Reid. Terry married Brenda Douglass on January 29, 1966. He was a correctional officer for the federal prison system and for Benton County jail. Terry was a member of Gentry United Methodist Church and the VFW. He served our country during Vietnam in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather, Levi B. Reid; father; two sisters, Wanda Holiday and Betty Earhart; and one brother, Thomas Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; sons, David A. Bailey and wife Carla of Gravette, Arkansas, and John M. Bailey and wife Johanna of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Chris Kelley and wife Brandi, Jeremy Rhodes, William Atticus Bailey, Flannery Mae Bailey and Amos W. Bailey; brothers, Harold Bailey and wife Joyce of Sherwood, Arkansas, Glenn Bailey and wife Erlene of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Joe Reid and wife Sandi of Glasgow, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Maurice Holliday of Texarkana, Texas; and sister-in-law, Linda Smith of Doddridge, Arkansas.

Sandra Kelly Laidlaw

Sandra Kelly Laidlaw, 57, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at her home.

Sandra was born to her parents, James and Marcia Huckins on March 18, 1961, in Roseburg, Oregon. On May 10, 1986, she married the love of her life, John Laidlaw in Southern California and they shared a happy 34 years together. She loved cats, spending time outdoors and kayaking down lazy rivers, watching scary movies, spending time with her grandson, cooking family dinners, and baking for her husband, John. God sent her as an angel to be with John and He called her back home.

She is survived by her dad, James Huckins of Roseburg, Oregon; her stepdad, Harold Young of Murphys, California; her husband, John Laidlaw; her son, Ryan Laidlaw and daughter, Lauren Laidlaw, both of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Craig Huckins of Escondido, California; and one grandson, Calvin Main.

A memorial service was held Sunday, January 27, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the CCF (Community Christian Fellowship Church) located at 525 S. Lincoln St., Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Jonathan Lowell Packard

Jonathan "Jon" Lowell Packard, 55, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died on Feb. 24, 2019, at his home.

He was born on April 15, 1963, in Portland, Ore., to Milton Packard and Janet Hopper Packard. He moved to Siloam Springs when he was 18 to attend John Brown University. While at John Brown University, he met Karrie Hines and they were married on June 8, 1984, at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church. He worked as a painter and glass worker. He also spent 13 years working for DaySpring Cards in Siloam Springs. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Melissa Johnston and husband Stephen of Siloam Springs; a son, Wesley Packard of Siloam Springs; his parents, Milton and Janet Packard of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, Christopher Packard and wife Amy of Grand Junction; a sister, Connie Mercer of Grand Junction; a brother-in-law, Raymond Hines and wife Natalie of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; and a sister-in-law, Sharrie McBride and husband Isaac of Siloam Springs.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Wes Flaugh and Pastor Randy Fleming officiating.
