Dustin Cole Erickson

Dustin Cole Erickson, 30, of Watts, Okla., died on March 7, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 12, 1988, in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was a carpenter, rancher and farmer. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, E.R. Bailey.

He is survived by his parents, Teresa and Steve Bailey of Bentonville, Ark.; a brother, Jackson Bailey of Bentonville; a sister, Dr. Lauren Bailey and husband Ryan Johnson of Dartmouth, N.H.; and grandparents, Ken and Linda Jones of Watts and Harryetta Bailey of Bentonville.

Funeral services were March 11, 2019, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with a private burial. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Margaret A. Herod

Margaret A. Herod, 83, of Decatur, Ark., died March 9, 2019, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

She was born May 4, 1935, in Benton, Ark., the daughter of Daniel Buie Dodson and Lottie Wilson Dodson. She married Samuel Herod in Benton and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; their daughter; and several sisters and brothers.

Survivors include her husband Samuel of the home; two sons, Morris Herod of Decatur, Drew Herod and wife Delaine of Clarksville, Ark.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Word Cemetery near Gravette, Ark.

Carolyn M. Holson

Carolyn M. Holson, 75-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on March 9, 2019, in Siloam Springs.

Born on May 26, 1943, in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of L.B. McClain and Lena Delores Browning McClain. Carolyn married Robert Lee Holson on April 21, 1979. She was a hairdresser for 18 years. Carolyn was a member of Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas. She was a diehard Tennessee Volunteers fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sisters, Delores, Barbara, Wilda, and Betty.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; son, Edward Wayne Johnson and wife Tommye of Siloam Springs; six grandchildren, Jordan, Cord, Kelby, Daniel, Cortney, and Trae; eight great-grandchildren, Layla, Kennedy, Jason, Karley, Delilah, Grayson, Scarlett, and Ezra; and her sister, Judy Iturbe.
