Rainbow Girls install officers

International Order of the Rainbow Girls Siloam Springs Assembly No. 11 held an officer installation ceremony on March 9.

A total of 11 members took office, which they will hold until fall.

Cheyanne Parrish was installed as Worthy Advisor of Assembly No. 11. She is the daughter of Craig and Cheryl Parrish. Her theme is "Once Upon a Time," her motto is "The Future is Yours to Make," her scripture verse is "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14." Her symbols are mirrors, apples and enchanted trees. Her colors are apple red, royal blue, magical white and majestic silver. Her flower is the red rose. Her service project will benefit the patients at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Other officers included Tabitha Eiland, worthy associate advisor; Olivia Heald, charity; Layne Julian, hope; Lyndee Jones, faith; Cenzie Johnson, chaplain; Maddie King, drill leader; Alexa Ward, confidential observer; Candy Dubon, outer observer; and Haylee Trotter, musician.

Maribeth Reisbeck was installed as Mother Advisor for the year, and Michael Lewis was asked to serve as Rainbow Dad for another term. Advisory Board Members were also installed for the coming year, including Craig Reisbeck, chairman; Michael Lewis, secretary; Bartina Springer, treasurer; Jennifer King, Cheryl Parrish, Julie Lewis, Elizabeth Reisbeck, Kristie Heald and Patti Eiland.

The Rainbow Girls, I.O.R.G., is a non-profit sorority-type organization that teaches young ladies from ages 11 to 21 about leadership, public speaking, memorization and teamwork, with a primary focus of service to God and others.
