Marjorie Lou Bagby

Marjorie Lou Bagby, 81, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, departed this life on October 4, 2020. She was born on July 27, 1939, in Neosho, Missouri, to Lewis Riley and Thursia Ann Shackelford-Church. Marjorie married Conley Bagby on December 1, 1958, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Marjorie retired from Sears and Roebuck Company after 25 years of service. She worked for Arkansas State Bank and Liberty Bank for over 10 years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Conley Bagby; her parents; and sister, Margaret Ann Grisham.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Edward Bagby and wife Karen of Gentry; daughter, Teresa Gail Beasley and husband Johnny of Siloam Springs; sister, Mary Ellen Jordan of Siloam Springs; five grandchildren: Jenny Summers of Greenwood, Indiana, Melanie Byrom of Gentry, Landon Bagby of Indian Trail, North Carolina, Brittany Murray of Rogers and John Kyle Beasley of Fayetteville. She also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren: Madison Byrom, Braden Murray, Logan Shortridge, Jacob Skaggs, Joshua Skaggs, Joseph Skaggs, Alexis Fulbright, Sixx Smith, Trick Smith, and Ransom Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ramona Reese Bolden

Ramona Reese Bolden, 64, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Born September 25, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Calvin Reese and Alfretta Rogers Reese. Ramona married Carl Bolden on March 17, 1991, and worked many years in both the New Orleans Public Schools and Siloam Springs School District as a Food Service/Nutrition Technician.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Carl; and son, Shaun Reese.

Survivors include daughter, Melanie Bolden of Capitol Heights, Maryland; son, Jonathan Bolden of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Maci; her brother, Michael Reese and family; and her dogs, Missy Anne and Alfie.

Darrell Lee Fletcher

Darrell Lee Fletcher, 82, son of the late Rev. Ocra Fletcher and Audry (Justice) Fletcher was born on August 2, 1938. He passed away October 4, 2020, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Darrell was raised in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1956. On September 21, 1958, he married the Love of his life Donna Thornhill. Together they had two daughters, Vicky and Robbin. Mountain Grove was also where he started his lifelong career in the tire business. In the early 60's, Darrell and Donna moved their family to Siloam Springs to work with Marsh's Racing Tires. In the early 70s, he purchased Brookes Firestone store that later became Benton County Tire & Wheel. He and Donna ran the store together for 27 years. After retiring in 2000, they traveled and enjoyed their grandkids. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Church of the Nazarene for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Donna (Thornhill) Fletcher; parents, Rev. Ocra and Audry Fletcher; and grandson, Chad Ellis Goodman.

Darrell is survived by two daughters, Vicky Goodman and husband David and Robbin Gorman and companion Rocky Burns; three grandchildren, Amy Sasser and husband Richie, Jacob Gorman, and Sara Pifer and husband Caleb; four great-grandchildren, Lillian Sasser, Elijah Sasser, Krew Pifer, and Oakleigh Pifer; sister, Sandra Ward and husband Jim; two sisters-in-law, Dorine Peterson and Nola Faye Atchison; aunt, Joan Fletcher; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many others that knew him as Pa.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Pastor Tim Traxel officiating. The service will be live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/wassonfuneralhome. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020, at Wasson Funeral Home. For the visitation and funeral service, guests will be limited to 150 people and everyone will be required to wear their own face mask, per the guidelines set forth by the State of Arkansas.

Linda Jane Jones

Linda Jane Jones, 72, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 4, 2020, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

She was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Oliver Nathan Haddock and Lillian Reeves Haddock. She graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1966. She worked as a nurse's tech for many different places in the healthcare industry. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Gum Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a niece, Sandy Brooks.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie Boothe and husband B.J. of Virginia; a brother, Jerry Haddock and wife Sharon of Weddington, Ark.; a nephew, Eddie Haddock and wife Gwen of Weddington; and great-nieces and -nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Gordon Topping officiating. Burial will follow at Weddington Cemetery. Marilyn Ruth Scacewater

Marilyn Ruth Scacewater, 91, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 3, 2020, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born April 17, 1929, in Stilwell, Okla., to R.C. "Tip" Atchley and Ella Mae Phillips Atchley. She married Jimmy Jack Scacewater on Aug. 3, 1946, in Stilwell. They moved to Siloam Springs from Noel, Mo., in 1955. She owned and operated Marilyn's Dress Shop for 15 ½ years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Siloam Springs.

She was past matron of Order of the Eastern Star and past president of Beta Gamma chapter Beta Sigma Phi. She was a member of the Siloam Springs Hospital Auxiliary and received her 1,000 hour pin. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Birthday Bunch.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and granddaughter, Kimberly Scacewater.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Rick Scacewater and wife Debbie of Joplin, Mo., and Mike Scacewater and wife Shannon of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Karen Ward and husband Gary of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Dr. Todd Scacewater officiating.

The family requests that everyone in attendance wear their own face masks and to remain distanced at least six feet apart in family groups.

Virgil Glenn Snell

Virgil Glenn Snell, 57, of Kansas, Okla., died Oct. 4, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born Jan. 5, 1963, in Claremore, Okla., to Swimmer Wesley Snell and Patricia Ann Roberts Snell. He graduated from Kansas High School in 1981. He worked as a carpenter for Born Again Pews. He enjoyed working around the house, spending time with family, and watching Arnold Murray of Shepard's Chapel preach on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Snell

He is survived by four daughters, Sandra Snell of Kansas, Ashley Snell of Kansas, Chloe Snell of Kansas, and Rianna McCrery of Rogers, Ark.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Snell of Twin Oaks, Okla., and Kenneth Snell of Kansas; and five sisters, Evelyn Conley of Claremore, Okla., Linda Luper of Tahlequah, Okla., Virginia Tucker of Tahlequah, Vicki Snell of Claremore, and Teresa Roberts of Claremore.

Janus Lee Welch

Janus Lee Welch, 77, of Siloam Springs, Ark., and longtime resident of Wagoner, Okla., died Oct. 2, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

She was born Sept. 24, 1943, in Keys, Okla., to James Haws and Myrtle Curtis Martin. She graduated from Wagoner High School in 1961. She married Larry Welch in Wagoner. She worked as assistant manager for Walmart in Wagoner and made glass lens at Coburn Lens Company. She and Larry moved to Siloam Springs in 2010.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Haws; and sister, Gail Welch.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Angie Williams and husband Keith of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a son, Larry Welch Jr. and wife Angie of Nob Hill, Ark.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
