Golfers compete in match at Springdale

The Siloam Springs golf teams participated in a four-team nine-hole match on Thursday at the Links of Springdale.

Other teams participating were Springdale Har-Ber, Springdale High and Harrison.

In the boys match, the Panthers finished third out of the four teams.

Springdale Har-Ber won the match with a score of 148, followed by Harrison 170, Siloam Springs 188 and Springdale High 222.

Har-Ber's Logan Mayo was the medalist with a low round of 34, followed by Ethan Chapman 36, and Jack Collins, Carter Moss and Kale Scheiderer each at 39.

Harrison's Reggie Grant and Blaise Bonds each shot 40, while Owen Styles shot 44, Liam Dupre 46 and William Ayers 47.

A.J. Moore shot a 42 to lead Siloam Springs, with Nate Vachon shooting 46, Will Van Asche 49, Landon Pool 51 and Jaxson Devoe 57.

Springdale High's Sam Owens shot 50 with Will Ashmore, Angel Lopez both shooting 54 and Cooper Harvey 64.

In the girls match, Har-Ber shot 120 to win the match, while Harrison fielded a 180 team score and Siloam Springs 192.

Springdale High only had one competitor and did not field a team score.

Har-Ber's Charley Wharton shot a low round 35 for medalist, while Alexa Burkett shot 40, Loren Moore 45 and Kenley Couch 58.

Brynne Bonds led Harrison with a 50, while Ella Ramsey was 63, Harper Sessions 67 and Ava Young 69.

Reese Sutulovich led Siloam Springs with a 59, while Brooke Ross shot 60 and Bailey Church 73.

Aubrey Justus was Springdale High's only golfer and shot 47.

The Siloam Springs golf teams are scheduled to host Harrison on Wednesday at the Course at Sager's Crossing.
