Juvenile held in adult jail for alleged rape, stabbing

A summer party ended tragically when a Kansas, Okla., boy allegedly raped and stabbed a teenage girl. Keighton Budder, 16, of Kansas, Okla., faces charges of first-degree rape and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. He will be charged as a youthful offender, said Capt. Ron Teel of Delaware County Sheriff's Office. The state's Youthful Offender Act allows for a blended sentence between criminal and juvenile court. The 17-year-old alleged victim, whose name was not released, was reportedly stabbed about 20 times and raped Aug. 11, the probable cause affidavit shows.
