SSHS boys bowlers defeat Bentonville teams

The Siloam Springs bowling teams hosted Bentonville High and Bentonville West on Tuesday in a high school match held at Community Bowl in Siloam Springs.

The boys team won the match as the Panthers finished with a score of 2,457, followed by the West Wolverines at 2,059 and the Tigers were third with 1,979.

Ben Holland led the Panthers with games of 233 and 199, while Jordan Baker scored a 215 and 171, Patrick Dowdy 198 and 175, Garrett Howell 183 and 178, Karterr Barlow 185 and Shane Hanan 183.

In girls action, the Lady Panthers scored 1,772 pins, which was good for second place in the match. Bentonville High won with 1,784 pins, while West was third at 1,366.

Misti Krueger led the Lady Panthers with games of 162 and 145, while Tessa Brown rolled a 149.

Both teams will return to action Dec. 27 in the NWA Holiday Tournament in Fayetteville.
