Seventh-graders win at Harrison

HARRISON -- The Siloam Springs seventh-grade 'A' football team picked up a 30-6 win at F.S. Garrison Stadium in Harrison on Tuesday.

Josh Stewart rushed for 179 yards on 11 carries and scored three touchdowns, while David Gowin rushed for 60 yards on eight carries.

Stewart also had two interceptions, one of which he returned 73 yards for another touchdown. Malachi Taylor, Zach Jones and Neo Harrower also had interceptions, while Wesley Farni helped the Panthers record a safety on defense.

The Panthers' defense held Harrison to 59 total yards of offense.

The win was the last regular season game for the 'A' team, which finished with a 6-2 record.

Harrison won the 'B' game 20-8. The Panthers scored their touchdown on an 18-yard run by Hunter Tallay, and he also ran in the two-point conversion. Harrower had four carries for 49 yards.

The seventh-graders will wrap up their season with an intrasquad at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Panther Stadium.
