Seventh-grade volleyball picks up first win

The Siloam Springs seventh-grade volleyball team picked up its first win of the season Monday 2-1 (14-25, 25-18, 25-20) against Springdale Sonora.

Kami Hulbert led the Lady Panthers (1-3) with 10 aces, while Dorothy Swearingen had five aces, Yoceline Gomez three aces, Mazzi Jones two aces and Brianna Wood and Mayalee Reichnecker each with one ace.

The seventh-graders were back in action Tuesday at Huntsville. Results were not available at presstime. They'll play again at home on Thursday against Springdale J.O. Kelly.

Ninth-grade

The ninth-grade volleyball team lost to Fayetteville White 2-0 (25-23, 25-21) on Monday. The ninth-graders (1-10-1) returned to action on Tuesday against Fayetteville Purple. Results were not available at presstime. They'll be back in action at home Monday against Springdale George.

Eighth-grade

The eighth-graders dropped a 2-0 (25-20, 25-11) loss to Fayetteville Woodland on Monday. The eighth-graders (3-10-1) returned to action on Tuesday against Fayetteville Ramay. Results were not available at presstime. The Lady Panthers are back in action on Monday at home against Springdale George.
