City Government

Siloam Springs operates as a "City Administrator" form of government. This means that the Mayor, Board of Directors and District Judge are elected positions. The Board of Directors has seven members, plus the mayor who serves as Board Chair.

Over the past five years, the city has overseen a lot of work to improve the infrastructure of Siloam Springs. Some of these projects include the widening of U.S. Hwy 412 and installation of medians, the repaving and narrowing of Mount Olive Street leading into downtown and a replanting of overgrown trees to protect our historic buildings.

Many developers and builders in our area have commended the City of Siloam Springs on their efficiency and willingness to work with people. In order to promote the economic development of Siloam Springs, the city has set up a "one-stop shop" for developers looking to build and help support the area. With the support of the city, Siloam Springs continues to be a growing, thriving community in the heart of Northwest Arkansas.
