An Illinois man was killed in a work-related accident at Powell Feed on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Siloam Springs Police Department.
On Wednesday, police identified the man as Aaron Newman, 27, of Granite City, Ill., who was working and living in Siloam Springs.
The police and fire departments responded to the business at 901 E. Jefferson St. at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. The incident is under investigation, but isn't believed to be criminal and there is no suspicion of foul play, the release states.
The Benton County Coroner's Office didn't reply to messages left on Wednesday.
Powell Feed is a family-owned company based in Green Forest, according to the company website. It has 11 locations throughout the state, including the Siloam Springs location.
