Children got a chance to get creative during the annual Chalk It Up festival in Bob Henry Park on Saturday.

Highlights of the free event, hosted by the city parks and recreation department, included crafts, such as card making and beaded jewelry, balloon animals, bouncy houses and of course lots of sidewalk chalk drawing. Caricature artists were also available to draw children's pictures.
